  • Welcome by Mack Paul, Musqueam Indian Band
  • Jules Arita Koostachin (UBC): KaYaMenta: Sharing Truths about Menopause (2020). A short documentary that weaves raw, funny, honest and intimate interviews of five Indigenous sisters, Dr. Anita Tannis and the documentarian as they delve into the mysteries of menopause. To humanize these experiences, they provide a personal understanding of menopause through an Indigenous women’s lens.
  • Erin Goheen Glanville (UBC): Borderstory (2020). A multimedia documentary narrating the word ‘border’ as part of the Worn Words listening research project on refugee discourse.

  • Ryan McMahon (Couchiching First Nation in Treaty 3 Territory): Colonization Road (CBC, 2016) by Michelle St. John McMahon. A documentary about the history of road names in Ontario that addresses the discourses of decolonization and reconciliation in Canada.
  • Peter Klein (UBC): Turning Points (2020). A documentary shorts series produced in collaboration with Indigenous storytellers in Yellowknife, NWT, on alcohol use, addiction, and healing.
